We believe that a woman is a change-agent. By investing in women, we are empowering them to create change in the lives of their family and their community. Through our programmes we are giving women the skills to lead others to grow their livelihoods. With access to training and learning to run a business, women gain economic independence and can take part in their households decision-making. Empowering women not only creates positive change in their lives, but also reaches to their spouse’s and children's lives too.

Through the trainings by Opportunity International, I too was able to unchain myself because, traditionally, a woman stayed at home. If I was not part of Opportunity International, it would have been awful because we didn’t have trainings, we didn’t know the benefits of working with banks. Now, I can do anything.
